Adding unique content to any website is one of the most important components you can have to attract new business, visitors and search engines. With all content make sure you write for the customer first and search engine second. While search engines are important to get you noticed, there is really no point driving people to these pages only for them to switch off and go elsewhere.

Other content ideas include interactive content. While search engines may not be able to index and rank it, if it is a useful addition for a potential customer then you really must consider adding it.

  • Video and Audio Files – maybe some video of the local area or town. If you are a hotel maybe a video of the rooms, and facilities – these are cheaper to do than you think.

As you can see, there are a huge range of ideas for content. The main drivers must be to create unique, sought after, content that is engaging and gets other people talking about it and linking to it.
